“Andy and Geoff were super friendly! These kind gentlemen really made our stay one to remember. Their dog Nacho was also most welcoming! I emailed the hotel ahead of time to explain that we would be checking in late. Andy responded right away and was nice enough to leave our key in a lockbox located outside the office. Yay! He also provided the local Aussie phone number for calling a taxi. Fantastic room with strong A/C unit. Loved the soft and comfortable queen size bed. Big refrigerator, microwave and there was even a toaster. WOW! Shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers were in the shower. The amazing housekeeping team gave us daily complimentary water, coffee and milk. The service from everyone was off the charts. Thanks again CQ team!”

“My stay was short and I didn’t get to enjoy many facilities like the pool. The hotel room was clean and spacious, tv and a/c worked well. The bathroom was also nice and clean. The reception lady was nice and friendly, my check in was too easy. The hotel is in a great location, a short distance from restaurants and bars. The Gladstone yatch club had an out door area for sundowners you could eat there or further along the water at the old brewery. I highly recommend coffee and breakfast at the LightBox espresso and wine bar. They were quick and the food was wonderful, big portions! They also have very friendly staff. ”

“If you just want a night to stay in the centre of town it’s ideal. Very basic but clean. They are doing renovations at the moment so lots of noice from 9am. The steakhouse is very good and great value for money. ”

“Stayed here for one night prior to taking Queensland Rail to Brisbane. Decent and clean room. Old style A/C unit, no remote control. Large fridge and there was even a microwave. Appreciated the complementary cereal and milk for brekky. Slow Wifi. Pub food was quite good. Excellent beef burger and tasty chicken strips.”
