“We stayed here for a 1 night stop over. The staff were friendly and helpful and the cabin was very clean and had all mod cons. The downside was the location is a bit out of town but no deal breaker. ”

“It was not that easy to find our cabin as we did not get a map. However we managed to see the map through the office windows. It was quite peaceful during our stay as the campsite wasn't full. The Town Centre is a short walk away. Beautiful shoreline. The "tourist attractions" are actually quite worth joining, especially the river cruise. Dress warmly if you want to stay outside on the upper deck. The timbermill is worth a visit, to get educated about Huon Pine . ”

“A grand looking property perched on the hill, surrounded by lush gardens. A fantastic location & the staff were wonderful. However, the interior feels dated & tired, particularly the bedroom we occupied. The drapes/curtains were terribly frayed, & the bathroom needed a really good clean. There were a lot of “big” pieces of furniture in the room that were somewhat unworkable & took a lot of space. Very comfortable bed. Outside our window, birds were occupying a large opening in one of the eaves. The driveway needs SERIOUS attention. The dining rooms & lounge areas looked to us as though they had been through somewhat of an upgrade. This B&B has the potential to be the best in the area.”
