“I stayed at Mercure Tamworth for one night with other half and children. Great sized room/s. We had 2 single beds and 2 double beds. Of great benefit was the fact we had 3 separate rooms for each of the beds. Bathroom was monstrous, but on the negative side there was no tub. One really convenient thing about the room was the nearby bottle shop. You can just use the adjoining club for a drink but we wanted a quiet night in. Plenty of soap, shampoo provided plus your standard kettle, wi-fi and 3 big screen TVs. ”

“The location is great & close to the heart of town. Intriguing old style hotel/pub. Shared facilities may not suit everyone & the room was quite small. I probably wouldn't stay there as a couple again but certainly would as a solo traveller. Parking was a little confusing but we sorted it. The young lady who assisted was very helpful & friendly.”

“First time staying here and we will be back. It starts at the front desk and continues from there. You are made very welcome, the rooms are a lovely size very clean, lovely comfy beds and everything you need. Shower pressure was great lots of hot water then in the morning a lovely continental breakfast complete with freshly made pancakes! You host Chris and his team couldn’t do more for you. Thank you my new favourite in Tamworth. ”
