“A torrid, dilapidated tourist trap. Despite the best efforts of the staff (who do try) this place is lacking of any semblance of a luxury or 4 star hotel. Facilities are extremely basic and in a shockingly poor state of disrepair. At best Mango Bay can be described as an old and run down hostel. The food is absolutely dismal (unless you like deep fried spam, soggy French toast, stale bread, or rock hard dried bacon shards that cut you as you eat etc.) the entire dining experience is nauseating in and of itself, let alone the fact that one is forced to battle legions of flies for every sip or morsel that you can muster up the courage to taste. The beach beds are smelly, wet and overcrowded, to the extent that you can barely see the beach sand, and there are enough beach towels. If you get lucky enough you are given one with holes in it, that looks more like a floor cleaning rug that has been thrown away after having been used on a factory floor for eighteen years. A stay at Mango Bay, leaves you feeling robbed in every possible way.”
