“It's a cool hotel to stay at with the great views and historical area. The bed is comfortable & the bathroom is great. If you can't get a room with a balcony, I don't think it's worth the price to stay here. We were put off by the hotel not providing an in room kettle or coffee maker as well as not being able to provide hot water or coffee in the morning in the lobby. The breakfast was interesting with a unique selection, but was primarily breads & pastries. ”

“Had an evening meal in the bar but was disappointed with the food and also drinks options! Firstly, there didn't appear to be a price list on show for the drinks and the range was inadequate. No Tia Maria, no amaretto and no draught beer (sold out!) Food wise, the lamb chops were mot great and the John Dory fish lack accompaniments. No vegetables or salad offered with the mains other than chips. Not the standard expected from a four star hotel. Breakfast excellent though. Car or taxi required to visit the city centre, parking not easy there. ”
