“For £50 per night. It was definitely worth the stay, the bed is comfy and the sheets were clean. This is in the perfect location, only 10 minute walk from the beach and 15-20 from the town. However, the room wasnt “clean” it had the obvious done, the sheets were changed, we had fresh cups waiting for us to make our own tea/ coffee but the room very obviously was not actually cleaned. There was a strangely large brown substance on the curtain which once mentioned, was cleaned immediately for when we got back to our room; but this wasnt the only thing i had spotted, the bathroom especially wasnt the best, the bathtub was brown stained, the floor hadnt been swept/ hoovered and there was a yellow stain on the floor next to the toilet. But. These didnt ruin the stay. Besides it not being the cleanist place we could stay. For one night it was perfect, cheap and in a really good spot. I think the stay is totally worth it. I hope the hotel improve on housekeeping. Theres some real potential here and every other aspect was amazing”

“Room is very basic, one electric socket not working, tv very small. Hotel rooms need updating. Staff excellent and very helpful. Good location for visiting Bournemouth town centre. Would recommend for a short stay for someone who wants to visit Bournemouth and the surrounding area. ”

“Location is amazing and sea facing room is perfect. Cleanliness in bar/ breakfast/room v poor. Tables not cleaned properly, food on table and seats. Fruits at bfast was kept with fish meat stuff. I am strictly vegetarian so did not fancy this. Whole fruit only apples, one day there was bananas. Kettle had to be equested to be cleaned. Semiskimmed milk for room not available Bar staff ignored us on 2 different occassions. Bathroom no tumblers, shower caps, only 1 small body cream. Overall, unfortunately felt like 2 to 3 star hotel. But Location is great. ”

“A very well appointed room and hotel with mostly very helpful and friendly staff. Food very good too, but a little pricey. Everything very clean. Position is perfect too. Only a small few niggles - the indoor pool air temp is stiflingly hot - to the point where I quickly felt faint and nauseous, so we went straight out to the outdoor pool instead, which was refreshing. The children's games room was disappointing as there was no ball to play the table football with and when I asked a member of staff about it, she just said she didn't know and walked off without trying to help us. The pinball machine and table football in the bar, not working/no ball either, so a shame for the children to see those items and not be able to play with them. Valet parking was a little slow, but the guy was very polite - he has to also deal with luggage too, so perhaps the reason it's slow. At this price points, I feel the small things need to be right too.”
