“A fabulous space to stay in. So quirky and unique. A 350 year old building would present some challenges for those less mobile, with uneven floors and stairs but for us it added to the experience. Alicia is so personable and provides a very substantial breakfast.”

“It’s odd that reception is on the opposite street, there is no staff in the building, possibly just CCTV. Another is, room has no lock from inside. None smoker here but I can still smell cigarette smoke in the room. Room is warm, clean, has kettle with free hot drinks, iron + board, hair dryer, stand fan, telly. ”

“We were greeted by very friendly reception staff that were able to check us in early and offer us the use of the facilities earlier than we thought the room had everything we needed for 1 night stay but room 3 was very tired good quality biscuits and coffee and tea bags bar food ok basic bar drinks a little pricey but over all a lovely stay thank you ”

“It was so great generaly. The hotel is located at the end of hill, so it was quite hard to drag my lugguge. Except for that, I strongly recommend this hotel. Clean and cozy. ”
