“We had a concert in town and stayed for one night. Staff was polite and efficient, facilities clean and basic. Breakfast was good. Distance from the venue was great and also plenty of places to eat or have a drink around the area. ”

“The hotel is like a number of seperate, large houses, joined together and therefore the rooms are large and very grand. The room we had had a large separate bathroom with a bath and separate shower. Due to the way the blocks are connected it is a bit of a maze but that adds to the character, however, there are a lot of stairs and no lifts (that we saw) so it isn't ideal if you have mobility issues. The front desk is manned 24/7, handy for heading back late/early after the pub. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the top of Byres road and is fairly close to a busy road so you do get road noise, especially in the morning. Overall a lovely place to stay.”
