“Quite a mixture of nice rooms. Excellent main meals and breakfast although the bar could be better stocked. Magnificent banquet room for big celebrations. Large car park. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. This hotel has plenty of potential to be superb - I truly trust that the new owners can make this hotel, that has so much history, into a prestige venue. My wife and I have stayed three times and happy to give this hotel a good recommendation at present.”
