“Me and my friend had an absolutely wonderful stay at Tangkoko Lodge! The facilities are beautiful and clean and the staff is super friendly and knowledgable. We did the Tarsier walk in the evening and saw Gursky's spectral tarsiers, then went on the day walk the next day and saw a coconut snake, tarantula, green back kingfisher, Ashy woodpecker, Azure-Rumped Parrot, local squirrel, great-billed kingfisher, black macaques. Apart from the stunning Jungle of the Nationalpark, the village is lovely and the black sand beach located in a big bay incredibly beautiful! We loved the big waves in the winter months, but it was advised to come back in summer to have a better swim + snorkel experience. I would definitely come back and can highly recommend Tangkoko Lodge as a place to stay! Thank you for everything! Anna & Jenni”

“Really enjoyed our stay here for two nights. Anna and her team were friendly, food was great, room was clean, and the ambience was amazing. Also enjoyed birdwatching from the balcony and found the guide Sakar very knowledgeable and friendly. We spotted all the iconic wildlife during our 2 days in Tangkoko. Highly recommend!”

The staff was lovely and the lady explained that the money spend on the tours support a meaningful causes, teaching English and environmental lessons to the youngest. ”

“I enjoyed my stay in Botanica. The property is very beautiful. I had an amazing view from the terrace. The cabin was big, with aircon, kettle, hot shower. The bed was very comfortable. The cabin would need some upgrade, but all in all, a nice stay. I got a big breakfast - mie goreng, coffee and juice. The owners are also lovely and they really wanted me to feel welcomes, which I did.”

“We had a very nice 2 nights stay at Fave Hotel in Bitung. The room was spacious and clean and the hotel had nice breakfast and friendly staff! The location is by a busy road but if you're there in Bitung just to do some activities (we did diving) this is a very nice hotel to stay at!”
