“1. The food menu is just for show, unless there is a banquet party there is no food available. 2. The bathroom drains were blocked. And even after raising the issues it was not addressed. 3. The chairs in the room were dirty, there were food and other dirt on the edges of the sofa. 4. The window seals were full off dirt. 5. The towels were stinking, and full of stains. 6. The worse is when we reached we were stopped by the gaurd, we literally had an argument to drive till the porch. We were asked to carry the luggage. This is such a horrible hospitality. ”

“I recently stayed at Amar Palace Hotel for two days, and unfortunately, my experience was far from smooth. Upon arrival, I was informed that they were refusing to provide me with the room I had booked through Agoda. The staff explained that they were receiving a low commission from Agoda and thus didn’t want to honor the reservation. After a frustrating half-hour of arguing and a call to Agoda customer service, the situation was finally resolved, and they agreed to provide the room. Additionally, the hotel did not provide a tea kit in the room, which I found odd. When I asked about it, they gave me a shaving kit and a dental kit instead. However, during checkout, I noticed they charged me for the shaving kit. When I pointed this out, they removed the charge from the bill, but it added to the overall inconvenience. To make matters worse, the flush in the bathroom was not working properly in the room they initially gave me. After complaining about the issue, they did change my room to an adjacent one, which was appreciated, but it still caused an unnecessary disruption to my stay. Another major issue I encountered was the poor Wi-Fi signal on the first floor. The connection was extremely weak, and the smart TV in the room kept buffering constantly, making it impossible to watch anything. While the room itself was decent, the customer service and attention to detail left a lot to be desired. It’s concerning that a hotel would refuse a booking over commission issues, charge for basic amenities like a shaving kit, neglect room maintenance, and provide poor Wi-Fi. The entire experience was stressful and frustrating. I hope they reconsider their approach to customer service and bookings in the future. Would I recommend this hotel? Only if you're prepared for unexpected issues upon arrival, during your stay, and at checkout. ”

“Good location but not maintained, need to improved for better results”

“Things are totally different from the pics shown in agoda. Dark humid and cold interiors, dirty bedsheets, just a dusty old mattress in the name of "Extra bed" for which I paid extra charges, a junk yard in the name of gym and activity room and very ordinary dinner and breakfast. There were mosquitos in room but atleast they gave allout repellant when asked. Even during winter they keep the hot water supply off and provide only when asked. Really felt cheated as I paid a decent amount of around 5k for one night. I'd never recommend this hotel to anyone. ”
