“The location is very beautiful from the rooftop restaurant and higher floors. Do not book standard room if looking for a view as it's on lower floor. Cabs do not go to any hotels in this location as it is in old city with narrow roads. Most attractions are at a walkable distance from this place and can enjoy beautiful sunset from this place.”

“The hotel has two great things: its location is very close to the City Palace and other popular places, and it has a rooftop restaurant with an amazing view of Lake Pichola. The room was okay. There was no hot water in the evening because they use a solar-based heater system. Since it's a two-star hotel, there aren't many other facilities. Overall, our stay was good, and I would recommend the hotel as a budget-friendly option, especially for its location.”

“They don't provide lunch in holidays. Electricity / plug was not working in morning. Slightly not suitable for older people's due the high hill location. Parking space not available. Apart from this, Room and Cleaning service was good. Staff was friendly. ”

“First of all, This place is centrally located to the main attractions like lake pichola lal ghat, Jagdish temple & city palace. If you don't want make hole in your pocket and can adjust in basic amenities then this is the place for you. Lake view room are having fare amount of view of lake pichola from window. But keep in mind that you need climb 2 floors to reach there. For me it's a good place to stay if you are going to spend most of your time outside and just want to stay in night there. Also, the rooftop restaurant is not functional but you can order food from swiggy/zomato, hotel staff will bring that food to your doorstep. Breakfast they have arranged at near by hotel which is good.”

“Its a good place for a lunch/dinner so that you can have a look at the property and the views it offers. Not a place where you can stay, super expensive, food is not great and very limited options, staff is also not very accommodating. Beds were not sturdy, there were mosquitoes and insects near the room window sitting area, asked to replace the sheet that was placed but the staff refused. Service is very slow, i had a 9 month old baby with me and it was not a pleasant experience.”

“This hotel can be set up as premium economy. Only drawback is that it is slightly inside the market area where a car would find difficult to enter. Location is good. From the terrace or roof top, you can see Lake Pichola so close and enjoy your meal. Only disappointing thing for me was that I asked for 4 hours extension but as they had overload of booking, they couldn't extend it. One thing to improve will be Breakast. It could have been buffet instead of asking individually what they would need to have with very limited option. Don't forget flute play early in morning near the pool area.”

“Both me and my wife had a fantastic experience - what I would call the 'Taj' experience Pickup from airport was seamless The location of the hotel is a feature in itself The staff at the concierge desk - Shivangi and team - were very helpful in planning sightseeing activities for me The food at the Sunset Terrace was superb - the staff had great recommendations - Dal Baati Choorma, Laal Maas, local style chicken curry. I also loved the breakfast buffet - live dosa counter is a Godsend for South Indians like me The room was clean and aesthetic with a lake view, staff att native to our needs We will be back!!!”
