“ENGLISH BELOW Le Grand Hôtel est un grand hôtel historique... il doit être là depuis longtemps. Il a peut-être perdu un peu de sa gloire, mais il est toujours très bien entretenu. Le joyau de la couronne est la belle piscine. C'est vraiment comme sur les photos. Les chambres sont plus que convenables... spacieuses, avec toutes les commodités, eau chaude, coffre-fort, bureau, deux chaises et table basse, lit confortable... Je n'ai pas de balcon... mais j’ai une vue sur la piscine... L'emplacement de l'hôtel est fantastique. Vous êtes en plein milieu de « l'agitation » de Diego endormi... Le seul ÉNORME ennui pour moi est le fait que l'internet ne fonctionne pas... Légalement, ils peuvent prétendre avoir une connexion internet (et ils l'annoncent fièrement sur leurs différents sites promotionnels). Par contre, ça ne marche pas du tout... J'ai dû acheter une boite Airbox Orange... Pour le prix que l’on paie et pour la grandeur qu’ils aiment revendiquer, ils devraient VRAIMENT disposer d’une connexion Internet décente. One ne demande pas la Fiber avec 250 mbps... 10 feront l'affaire... Est-ce que je reviendrais... oui, mais seulement s'ils peuvent garantir une connexion Internet fonctionnelle... _________________________ The Grand Hotel is a big, historic hotel... must have been here for a long time... It has lost a little bit of its glory, but is still very well maintained. The jewel in the crown is the lovely pool area... It really is like it looks in the pictures. The rooms are more than adequate... spacious, with all the amenities, hot water, safe, desk, two chairs & coffee table, comfy bed... I do not have a balcony... but I look out onto the pool... The location of the hotel is fantastic. You are right in the middle of the "hustle and bustle" of sleepy Diego... The only ENORMOUS downside for me is the fact that the internet does not work... Legally, they can claim they have an internet connection (and they proudly announce it on their various promotional sites). However, it does not work at all... I've had to purchase an Orange airbox... For the price I am paying and for the grandeur they like to claim, they REALLY should have a decent internet connection. It does not have to fiber with 250 mbps... 10 will do... Would I come back... yes, but only if they can guarantee a decent internet connection... ”
