“This hotel is funky, great location, clean, staff are nice, the bed and room were great and the breakfast looked good. All the ingredients for a good stay. But the room I was in had the rooftop bar upstairs and a bar directly under the windows with music and loud chatting until well after midnight. If you plan to sleep after that that's fine. If you want an earlier night or a good night's sleep, probably not the hotel for you. I think the hotel suits younger travellers who are looking to experience the night life, and Groningen is definitely the place for it. Also, bike rental is 15 p/d, even though it was advertised as 10. That annoyed me a little.”
