“Took this place on a spur of the moment need, our boat had landed at the pier and I hadn't booked anything yet. This place jumped out at me for a special low-season bargain price and it was relatively close to the boat pier... so that settled it. check in was smooth, almost no other people (low season) early evening so I had one of the homemade craft beers on tap. It was really good... so I had another! Turns out this place is sort of isolated, hence the private beach which was indeed private, pretty nice but nothing all that special. I called for a moto=taxi to take me to another part of the island that had a bit more activity and a restaurant with a pool table and a nice handful of people. So I had some food and spent about 90 minutes there then returned to the Payamas Resort. The bed was great, nice soft pillows, lovely room, decent bathroom and so settled in for the night. Slept very well. Breakfast was included and was quite nice, order from a given selection to your liking. A few nice out of the ordinary offerings so I did enjoy that too. After that I moved on to another part of the island with a much more incredible beach and not so isolated. Enjoyed the rest of my stay on Koh Phayam at that larger beach, but suffice to say the one night at Phayamas Private Beach Resort was quite comfortable, beautiful, peaceful and I'm glad I found it in my time of need. I would go again due to it's convenience to the pier, the comfort factors and that really delicious home brewed beer!”
