“First off the staff are so polite. When I arrived the front desk clerk asked if I wanted smoking or non-smoking. I told him I wanted whatever was quieter. I travel alone, and like things as much silence as I can get. He found me a terrific room, and noise was a non-issue the whole stay. The room was spotless clean, bed so comfortable, bathroom wonderful. Some motels I go to, the rooms are great, but they're shady characters outside. Not the case here, you will feel safe if you stay here, no strange people hanging out in the parking lot. The neighborhood is nice, before I stayed here I read reviews, some said the neighborhood wasn't. The neighborhood is fine, there's a delicious Italian restaurant, Hardee's, even a Taco Bell in walking distance, this made getting food easy during my stay. The owner is extremely friendly, stopped in to check to make sure everything was good, I appreciated that. The Wyndham Travelodge Chambersburg has everything you want in a motel, fair price, clean rooms, peace and quiet, I couldn't recommend more. ”
