“The staff was very nice. The on site restaurant was tasty and the Starbucks was nice to have. The elevators were very problematic. We got stuck on them (yes more than one) several times. We were there with a large group and everyone had issues with the elevator. It’s a known issue. If you can use the stairs, I would recommend it I would not recommend the hotel if you have accessibility limitations and have to use the elevators. ”

“I can’t say you get what you pay for! I paid a decent price and the first room was clean and had all amenities but the carpet and furniture was stained. I had to stay in that room the first night they moved me the next morning. I had a suite so the bedroom was separate there was no TV in the bedroom and the microwave didn’t work she moved me to a different room there was a big whole in the wall where the vent was supposed to be and the smell was horrible I just wanted to get on with my day at this point we got breakfast came back to the room to shower in the middle of my shower the water just stopped running I just started smacking and beating it faucet made a load noise but eventually came back on I took showers like this for 2 day there was also no TV in the bedroom so we ended up just moving the TV at night one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in but on the up side there were no bed bugs ”

“I always check reviews on multiple sites before I stay at a "value priced" hotel. I was aware of the negative reviews this property has received and willingly rolled the dice. We were only in town for a concert at the state fair and needed two rooms with easy access to the highway. The price seemed very fair and I've slept in some real sh!tholes when I was younger, so I booked this hotel Check in is at 3. We arrived at 3:20 and we're 4th in line. Two people checked in, the other requested a room and was asked to return in an hour. They had 1 person staffing the desk at check in - I believe his name was Perry and he was the highlight of our stay. When it was my turn at the check-in desk, he told me that he had to see which rooms the staff had cleaned before checking me in. I was initially very unhappy with that, as I've just watched 2 people check in and it's almost 4 pm. But I didn't make a stink about it and waited. While waiting, one of the people that checked in before us returned to the lobby, placed the key on the counter and stated that they could not stay in such a filthy room. Whoa! That have me serious pause, but we really didn't want to waste time finding another place to stay so we waited. Perry (?) was very professional and thorough. He inspected our rooms and took care of any issues. My son had zero complaints with his room. We would've preferred a cleaner looking floor and had to ask for soap and TP, but the bed was comfy, room was updated, water pressure good and the hotel was quiet. The bad : Pool is closed and has been for awhile. I would assume it's due to lack of staff The breakfast: It's not breakfast. Oatmeal & muffins. Coffee is solid though. The housekeeping: Below average but the property is well maintained. The management: How are you going to schedule one person for check in on a Friday? He had 29 scheduled. That's absolutely unacceptable and the reason they can't keep help. A few more full time associates and this could easily become a 4-5 star review. As it stands now, I'm saying 2.5 based on my staff interaction, location and the rooms we stayed in. ”
