“All great, except for: - one elevator having a dull smell - jacuzzi in need of deep cleaning”

“In the area of lake placid you will often find older hotels that are rated 4 stars and more. This is not one of them. The cambria is relatively new, perched atop a hill so the views are nice especially from the terrace of the hotel. Everything was clean and in good shape. ”

“My fiancee and I stayed there for one night during our engagement trip. The staff was incredibly helpful and were very welcoming. The rooms are large et if you are lucky you get a beautiful view of lake placid. Would definitely go back there. It also seems like a great place to stay as a family. ”

“Went here for a hockey showcase. Chose this hotel because of location. Hotel was very nice and clean. Staff was very nice also. Only complaint is when we arrived to check in we got there late, 12am and was told there was no more parking at hotel. So we would have to park down the street at their other location and walk back to their hotel. Not what you want to hear after driving 6 hours and it was very cold out.. Turns out we did find a spot at the hotel but then you didn’t want to drive anywhere because you didn’t want to lose your parking spot. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. ”

“Clean, pleasant hotel with courteous staff. Great location near to everything in Lake Placid. Does not have a view, which is the only downside. Would stay there again.”
