“It was cool for a hotel under renovation ”

“We booked for a twin room, but were assigned to a double room. The facility was non-smoking, but we smelt smoke in the building, and there were other guests yelling and talking very loudly to each other and children. ”

“Wasn't sure where this hotel was located bc we had never visited Memphis, but we chose one not too cheap and not too expensive. Hotel location was OK...I've stayed in shady hotels in the past and this wasn't that bad. What was frustrating was the pool! I have 2 young kids, and kids from the neighboring "projects" (staff used that term when explaining why the pool closed 3 hours prior to posted closing time) get in all the time and wreak havoc! I was there 2x when this happened, think of 3 - 7 teenagers doing flips into the shallow end, running and horse playing while paying customers are in the pool. Hottub was out of order the whole time, I wonder if that's bc of the problems they have with the neighborhood kids. Also the water is FREEZING! I didn't see alit of parents in the pool bc they couldn't handle how cold it was. The room wasn't bad. Working AC is always a plus in my book. Kids really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. I like the hotel chain, but this location isn't the best.”

“Clean and accommodating...great place to unwind after a long day of traveling. We had our little dog with us and only had to pay $20 for her to stay with us. The breakfast is not a high point, but Memphis has so many great places to get food, it doesn't matter.”
