“It is a grand old hotel with few great staff that is sadly let down by a terrible lack of F&B management. Room service took 75 minutes, and the next evening, we were quoted an hour delivery on a bucket of ice and two soft drinks. What's worse is that they couldn't give a damn attitude of staff when complaints were lodged. Poolside drinks and attendant service is great, but once again, food (sandwich and chicken tenders) took around an hour to arrive. We eventually resorted to buying a cooler at Wallgreens and getting ice, drinks, and snacks from there as we didn't want to wait an hour every time we ordered something. As the so-called luxury brand of the Marriott group, we expected a level of service on a par with their offering in Dubai, this hotel, however, is an embarrassment to the Ritz Carlton brand. Avoid this hotel if you are accustomed to and expect excellent service.”
