“This was my second stay at this Home2Suites in McCandless PA. We had a great experience in August 2020. This stay was less than a minimal experience We were placed in a room where the refrigerator/freezer was broke. We changed rooms. That night around 1045pm when we were exhausted from driving,and ready for bed, we discovered there was no bedding for the pull out sofa. I called the front desk and was connected to a rude man who informed me you had to make reservations for 3 to get the linens.... Which is exactly what our reservations was made. Then I was told he could not bring us the linens as he was the only staff at the front desk. I went downstairs to retrieve the linens, and met the rude man face to face. I asked for 3 pillows and his response was "For a PULL OUT SOFA" Hr have me 2 pillows w no pillow cases and argued the cover on the pillow was the case, which it wasn't! He slid a blanket across the counter, and asked about sheets and he said they were in the blanket. I returned to the room and had one flat sheet, NO FITTED SHEET,one scratchy blanket, and ,2 pillows without cases. I called the front desk again and informed the rude man and was informed this time he could not bring a fitted sheet or cases because he pulled his groin and couldn't walk far!!! Mind you, I had just had nerve block injections in my back 2 days prior. I just hung up the phone and made due. The room and king bed smelled like a wet dog, the guide on the remote did not work, I hated the bathroom sliding door.... I had to get my husband to assist opening it every time I went to the bathroom. The entire experience was extremely disappointing”
