“We stayed for a wedding in town. The place is getting a little dated and the price is extremely high for what it is, but its in line with the other places in town. You can walk the whole town from here--(we did it in 8000 steps!) The river is nice and half the rooms are facing the water. We were facing the road. Honestly I picked this place looking forward to sitting by the river in the hot tub, but it was completely gone with just a big hole in the deck and bare pipes! The room smelled a little like dogs but not real bad. The staff is great and they make fresh breakfast with a smile so that was nice, but it was still about $170 with tax for a very basic hotel in a town who rolls up the streets at 8pm. Also try not to stay in March and April unless you don't mind half the town being closed "until May", for example we were really looking forward to the donut shop but it's not even open in the spring. Same with the ild time diner and a couple other places. They should definitely lower the prices more between ski season and summer, but all the hotels would have to be on board--its for sure a seller's market with most guests being there for a special reason. ”
