“Room was very large & clean. Had full kitchen with all appliances/utensils. Nice separate living room & bedroom. Close to restaurants & town. I would stay here again if in the area.”

“The location can’t be beat and the staff were genuinely kind. I enjoyed the historical charm of the room and the cleanliness was top notch. I was fortunate to be upgraded to a suite, but the design of this room’s windows allow all of the light from exterior street lamps in without any shade to block it out. It was so bright in my room at night I almost could’ve read by it and ir kept me from being able to sleep. So bring your own sleep mask and ear plugs as street noise is also disturbing. ”

“The hotel is right up against the freeway. I would not recommend this place due to freeway noise. It's almost as the walls are made of cardboard. The beds were so comfy and the staff was sweet, but the building needs to be rebuilt with thicker walls and windows so you don't hear the freeway traffic as much. ”

“Everything was great the only problem I had was the desk person telling me I had too many visitors I have just bought a house and could not move in for 2 days. Working out of my house, and bring between old and new . I had to have my employees come to motel to pick up payroll and discuss the next weeks work .I tried to explain that and still got grief about situation if they want no visitors, that should be clearly explained before you check in .”

“We really enjoyed staying at The Astro motel. The front desk person who checked us in was excelellent in customer service and had a pleasant upbeat demeanor. The decor inside the room and in the breakfast lounge takes you back in time as if you're living in the 1960's. We liked that. The room was clean and simple, it had everything we needed though. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Although we drove to go out at night, we noticed that the Astro is only about a 5 minute walk to the main strip of old downtown Santa Rose where there are some good restaurants and breweries including one of our favorites Russian River Brewery. We would definitely stay here again.”
