“Beautiful location and our room, a deluxe king, was very nice. The staff there is wonderful and when the reservation desk woman saw that we were on the third floor without an elevator (make sure you ask which floor your room is on), she swapped it out for an available first floor. The lounge /breakfast room is gorgeous with a gas fireplace, very cozy in December. The continental breakfast had gluten free cranberry bread and other options. Many choices for breakfast. We didn’t walk away hungry, for sure. Very clean room. Plenty of vot water. Excellent Wi-Fi and tv. The bed was huge! Heads up: if you are allergic to feathers, there is a feather mattress pad and quilt. And maybe pillows, too. Such friendly and helpful staff. We were there for a funeral, but my husband wanted to come back for a weekend getaway. The restaurant was closed when we got there so we didn’t get to try it out, but it looked lovely. I imagine this is a popular wedding venue, but quiet in December, which we loved.”
