“Over flowing trash bins outside of building but inside was clean and comfortable,decent breakfast that was free thanks”

“I had family business in town and needed a quick, convenient place to stay. There are tons of chain hotels in the surrounding area, but the Inn is a quiet respite and my go to hotel. With the tri-college campuses on winter break, it was even quieter. But the staff was still friendly and accommodating, and it looks like the hotel is taking advantage of the downtime to spruce up the place with fresh paint. Fitness room is adequate with quality Precor treadmills, bikes, elliptical machines, and a small assortment of free weights. Not the poshest place but definitely welcoming, clean, and comfortable.”

“We are in South Bend often but had never stayed at this hotel. Its on par with others we stay at with better value for your money. The staff is attentive, the room was clean and quiet, the pillows and bed were comfortable. The location is less desirable for walking, but it is a very short drive to ND, is across from a coffee shop and has plenty of parking. Would definitely stay again. ”

“First of all it’s says 24hour desk service no one is in sight there’s no phone/bell or anything I had to call the hotel in my cell like hey here to check in, also they require a $60 deposit which is fine most hotels require one but nowhere in booking just not on this sight but on all the ones I looked at is this stated if you require a deposit just say so upon booking it’s really no big deal just something travelers like to know, this is also one of those hotels that require you to put a key card in a slot for power that isn’t overly common and would have been nice to know but my check out was cold, my deposit was taken they communicated that very well my key card was slid across she said my room number out loud which I hate as a single traveler but no one was around so I let it slide and that was it no information at all about the hotel and lovely to find out the next morning my room I had no hot water let it run forever to get it kinda warm let it run longer the second morning and it got warmer so I guess if you stay here my advice would be you have to let your shower run a good 15 mins to get a decent temperature, I tried calling the front deck with no answer and again no one at the front desk so I was stuck with it while it was a great deal for a work trip I will be pay a few dollars more for better service next time ”
