“The hotel is very nice, good location, just a few points is to give maintenance to the pool, it already has a crust, a better cleaning in it. the duvets on the beds in my room are stained, and under the beds was trash that someone else had left.”

“If was my fault for not completely check my room before I left. However, I immediately took action and call the front desk the next day I found out I have left my sweater and my hoody in the closet. At first, the front desk was really nice and helpful (she even said if the item is found, they will ship it free of charge), but after waiting a whole day and no call backs I realize they either couldn’t find it, or didn’t bother with my issue. I couldn’t give up so I keep tracking them the next few days with their housekeeper manager but after a few calls, all I got is “we couldn’t find your cloths”. I hope they see this review as helpful opinion and take a second look at their housekeeping staffs, because I sure hope no one will experience what I had gone through.”

“All bed sheets are all dark white not even clean or even change because still smell a perfume and cigarette smoke. I’m wondering why the room is non smoking but all the rest rooms has a mark of cigarette burnt mark. Every week we are here saw all different room some of them are broken tissue holders, broken shower curtain handle and most of all that I don’t like much the smell cigar. Front desk are not friendly sometimes they are rude.”

“I love this place. They are in the process of upgrading so excuse the renovations but the rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The TV are smart TVs. The inside lobby is very nice. You will get your money worth here”

“Decent place considering the price. Plenty of food options within walking distance. Stayed during the weekend so the surrounding area got a little rowdy late at night. Was looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub the site mentioned....but there isn't one. That was the one major downfall.”

“Hotel is remodeling, nice place to be in family close to restaurants store and about 10 minutes from the beach.”

“Needing temporary housing after relocating to the Virginia Beach area, we have stayed at many pet friendly, budget motels. This is the only one out of the group, including other Red Roof that does not smell "funky;" and there are no " shenanigans " in the parking lot. Most of the rooms have been freshly painted and have updated furnishings. The motel is close to the highway and there are many fast food restaurants nearby.”

“Initially we were given the wrong room type. Then we had to wait almost 3 hours for the correct room. The pool could use some attention. They ran out of certain food items the first day. Snack center in lobby area was a desert, literally NOTHING available. The manager, while not "mean", could use more s training when dealing with customers. Hotel in need of a deep cleaning but the rooms weren't bad. Our pull out sofa wasn't working properly and we had to wait for a truck to arrive to receive linen for it at 9p. ”
