“Historically cold temperatures when we went, so it was worth it to stay in a lodge setting for the indoor activities on-site (game room, spa and hot tub) and to have trails all around. The room had a gas fireplace and gorgeous mountain views on the ridgeline. Extra insulation along the door frames could have kept us warmer, we saw light and heat leaking out that way. A microwave would have been a nice addition to the room for popcorn and warming up food or reheating our mugs of tea. A word of warning that booking through a third-party limited their ability to refund us when the heat failed on our second night in the room, so that's worth a mention! They took care of dinner and the resort fee ($30 a night). Would absolutely return, but maybe switch to stay in the main lodge if there's another cold snap!”
