“The hotel is a bit run down and could use some updates. Rooms smell of old, stale smoke and a little like dog (assuming cause they allow pets). Seemed clean enough. Fridge and microwave, which was nice. Breakfast had egg patties and sausage which was a nice surprise. Waffles, pancakes too. $7/day resort fee which is NOT disclosed upon booking with Agoda OR directly with the website. Unhappy about that. Wish it had a hot tub. Never saw anyone use the pool. Was a good location, near enough things but far enough away from downtown. Side entrance could use some cleaning up, birds built nests on the side of the building so the sidewalks were covered.... Next to two or three other hotels and walking distance of a gas station with a Burger King.”

“We had not visited Wisconsin Dells since June 2019. We usually stay at the well known resorts but wanted to try something different. So hubby and I decided to try Staybridge for the Labor day weekend. I will say, the hotel was clean. I was not aware of resort fees for a hotel , but ok everyone is trying to make money since the pandemic. The stay would have been fair except for the noisy exhaust equipment over the 4th floor room. Very noisy. I immediately contacted the front desk, who sent staff. During their first visit, it was stated it was the refrigerator, then it was stated, it was air conditioner. I turned the air conditioner off, it was usually noisy. Staff came back to my room and stated they didnt here nothing but the refrigerator. When the compressor turned off on the refrigerator, it was stated the room under was using their dish washer. I asked for another room, I was informed the Hotel was sold out but they could give me a smaller room. ( No reduced price offered. I paid prior to arrival) I called the third party company, who I made the reservations and spoke with Dave, he called Staybridge and was told by Kristan, Staff Supervisor the noise was from the air conditioner. I informed him I turned the air conditioner off it was still noisy and it was the exhaust equipment on the roof. Dave also informed me Kristan stated, if I check out before 4 pm tomorrow, they will charge me for one day and issue a refund for remaining days. This would have been fine but this was Labor Day weekend in Wisconsin Dells. I could not find (and I tried) last minute accommodations at a reasonable price, therefore, we stayed and endured by staying in the bedroom with all doors shut and a set of ear plugs. I give management a low rating because Kristan, staff supervisor or a manager did not make an attempt to contact me but sent the above message via Dave from Agoda. During the stay, we tried the free breakfast on Saturday morning. The food appeared to be ”

“My family and I had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Or room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Will be returning next year. ”
