“The hotel itself was better than we expected having read some of the reviews. The room was clean and the pool was lovely. Staff were generally helpful ( bar the last moment when our transfer was ~25 mins late.) The food is ok, we often went across the road to white grass. The snorkelling off the resort was amazing though ! Better than any of the blue holes! We did not take part in any tours as we had already done the volcano and custom village there but found the tour prices very expensive. This hotel suited us as we were looking to enjoy some snorkelling on a short trip to Tanna for a couple of nights but this not really a luxury resort. ”

“This place was exceptional from top to bottom! We are usually budget travelers, but after 2 years of being stuck in China through COVID, we thought we would splurge on our first trip out since the lockdown. White Grass was expensive, but the Agoda discount made it worth every penny! The grounds were meticulously cared for, the restaurant meals were 5 star quality, and the staff were super accommodating. It was nicely managed by the family which really showed in how friendly and open everyone was. The happy hour sunset special on their lanai was amazing - the best sunsets ever! The cost of different island tours were more expensive than what the neighboring hotels charge, so that was annoying. But overall, this place was awesome!!!”
