Compton Guest House

I stayed over for one night at this guest house located off of the Alexandra Road in Wimbledon. It was a short walking distance from Wimbledon Station and very convenient as I was attending an event at the Wimbledon Library which was ideally even more nearby. The hostess was a Korean lady and she informed me that the guest house was also used as a school during weekdays. The only complaint or issue that I had was that the bedroom that I was staying in faced out towards the side of a neighbouring children’s school next door to where the guest house is located and the noise of screaming schoolchildren outside caused a big disturbance to me by waking me up earlier than I had planned. This was the only real major issue I had apart from there not being a lift to take my suitcases up with me as all of the rooms were situated above the main floor of the home and the only way to bring them to my assigned room was by having to go up the staircase to the second floor carrying each of them with me. All in all, it was an adequate stay in a good location but there were some odd issues that occurred which spoiled my experience there for me.
