Panone Hotels - King'ori Kilimanjaro Airport

This is the closest Hotel to the airport that won't break the bank for what you're getting. The JRO airport road access, is situated between the major cities of Moshi and Arusha. This hotel is located in the town of King'ori, on the main hwy close to the access road. (Just to give you perspective) It's a hwy hotel so there's traffic going by all the time and a fuel station attached. You're gonna hear vehicles driving by occasionally but surprisingly not too loud. It was reasonably safe, comfortable and clean for a layover hotel. I would find something a bit more comfortable with more amenities if you're staying longer than 2 days in the area. The built in restaurant with a free breakfast was not appealing to me as the items seemed not as fresh and appetising as the outside restaurant which had more variety and flavours, plus it was better value. The hotel will arrange a 10.00USD for 3 to 6 riders plus bags for a small van, and 6.00USD for up to 2 riders to the airport, but you need to ask for this service at the front desk in person and book when you know your flight times. I only say this because they say there's an airport shuttle, but they are actually hired drivers from the nearby towns that the hotel orders for you if you want.
