Originally chosen for the reasonable price and reachibility to MXP (Malpensa Airport). We were wrong. In our particular case the early morning outbound flight demanded straight forward transfer options we hoped to get for the money. Unfortunately for us, the days before prebooked taxi was the only real one. The venue is 8-14km away from MXP, which is practical for taxi inbound but not for return to the airport out of business hours. Not walkable, no reasonable public transport either. Taxis are not keen to drive there (too close - less profit) and forget the pickup. We contacted the host about the transfer - we were told they don't arrange for it. After exploring all the viable notions in the airport on the day before the early flight (private transfer stands, taxi drivers directly, Uber) and realizing the morning pick up would be a huge stress and potentially breaking further trip logistics (if unsuccessful) we decided to stay in MXP overnight - to ensure we board the plain next morning. "Greedy pays twice" - it was about us :) but we have learnt from it :)
