Umibe No Yado Seiriki

All hotels were booked in karatsu for the kunchi festival so we stayed way out here. Worthwhile staying here though it is far from karatsu because there are not very many decent hotels in the area that aren't booked out. Limited bus service to karatsu. Older building with good kaiseki dinner features live squid. Dinner in the your room. Breakfast in dining room No wi fi so make sure you have mobile data. Would stay here again if I ever came back to karatsu for the kunchi festival which is wonderful . Not likely though since there are so many beautiful festivals in Japan and not enough decades to see them all.
