Hotel Villa Ruckert

I chose this hotel for its location in a quiet and green villa area but yet close to the inner city (1,5 km), which is in walking distance for me (there are tramways though). The building is very charming with a beautiful small garden. The room was modern and clean. The reception was not always staffed, which didn't pose a problem for me but I was lucky that a house employee was there when I arrived although I was one hour early. The only downfall (and the reason I gave only 4 stars) that there was no breakfast served (since the start of Covid) although there were not any local Covid restrictions in place anymore in the town. Given the price, breakfast should have been included. Instead I had breakfast in a simple cafe nearby (Tribeka) which was a good choice. Still, this hotel was an excellent choice for my stay.
