I really want to give an honest review of this place to help other people make a decision. Firstly, I enjoyed my stay here a lot, it suited me for the most part but there are things people should be aware of. 1st) there is no suitable fridge space provided for all the rooms in this place, this is a massive negative, the reason I was able to stay here comfortably is because I actually bought a fridge for my room for the month I stayed there. Without doing that it would have been very bad as I was staying in the summer. 2nd) there does seem to be a permanent resident who stays there in one of the front rooms at the top who may make people feel uncomfortable, especially people from the LGBTQI community - there is actually some offensive material on display in a public area, and I think people should know that. 3rd) My room was at the front of the building were the afternoon sun beats straight in and there is no adequate block out curtains to try and stop the summer sun, of course in the winter you may find that a lovely bonus. But any afternoon napping needs an eye mask and earplugs. Because I was staying a whole month I bought some things and that was what made my stay really comfortable, I bought a fridge, a fan, a water filter and a kettle for my room. And once I had that stuff I really loved my stay. I loved the location even though others might find south London a bit to dirty for them as compared to north London. But there is lots of great cheap places to get food and its a quick walk to the tube station and bus stop. I do think it is a good value stay for proximity to London and transport links but it could just do with a few simple touches that would really make it a great place to stay. I had stayed in a very similar room in Liverpool just a couple of weeks before but they had a side table with all those extras that I mentioned. the fridge, a kettle, an iron. Just the little things and that made that stay so much better and easier for me. Chec
