SmartRooms

Did not get sent checkin instructions so rang the doorbell on arrival to have a slightly confused lady greet me and usher me to the next door salon… the salon laughed at my entrance with suitcase asking for a room! Thankfully one of the salon girls could speak English and very kindly helped me obtain a room at SmartRooms but I was given no checkin instructions or wifi and my bed lacked bedding (just a topper on the mattress). The room stunk of smoke and the soap dispenser was also very dirty. The shower started running at 2am which woke me and then was periodically woken in the early hours from activity outside my room (thin walls). I think the hotel is fine for a quick, cheap stay for those who understand the system and appreciate what they’re getting upfront.
