Booked a queen bed with kitchenette. Room was FREEZING. The electric heater was not turned on and room was about 12C, plus the floors were uncarpeted due to it also being a pet friendly room. Got offered an "upgrade" to another queen room with carpet for $25/night. We wound up accepting the upgrade to a room with a king bed instead, but room temperature was unchanged. Took about 10 hours for the room to warm up to 20C. Yes, it was unusually cold in Mission that week, however, no excuse for not turning on the heat in advance of guest arrival. The "bait and switch" was also extremely disappointing. I looked online today and the differential between the queen room with kitchenette and the king room is $8/night. Will never stay here again. Building very run down and poorly managed.
