Hotel Pauw

I have booked on this site a room. The room chosen for me was room 21, which is a small room, with absolutely no view and the bathroom being a separate room, which turned out to be a good thing. The location is perfect. It can't get better than this. The room and bathroom were not properly cleaned, more precise there was a lot of dust in the room and some hairs in the bathroom. I am not complaining, I am just saying there is room for improvement. What is unfortunately a bug issue is the lack of preparation from the staff, as at 01:34 am the fire alarm was activated. We dressed and went down and the staff just looked at us without offering any support. One of the guys was vacuuming like nothing is happening. After a few minutes we were told that the alarm is false and we went up where we met two eledery ladies asking us what is happening. I find this unacceptable, not to take care of your customers. 15 minutes for eledery people to get dressed and coming down on some narrow steps is not the way to save lifes. Maybe would not be a bad idea the employees to make a fire/first aid course before being hired. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay :)
