Our two bedroom unit had either bed bugs or fleas. My wife and l both got multiple bites over our torsos, arms and legs. We are both very experienced campers and outdoors people, so we know that the bites were not from mosquitos, minges, gnats or spiders. Once home we had to inspect and clean all of our clothes and luggage. Not the way we hoped to end our vacation. In addition, the area has a foul odor from the surrounding dairy farms and swarms of green flies that are attracted to the manure. Many years ago i worked as a milker at a dairy farm, so i am familiar with both the odor and the flies. But that is not how i want to spend my vacation. The windows to our unit do not open or have screens, the sliding doors do not have screens, and one of the windows in a bedroom was broken. The regional park across the lake, which drew us to the area has very little to offer, unless you are a local looking for a place to swim, take a short hike or ride your ATV.
