Sea View Whitsunday Apartments

We booked room G004 and I would not recommend this room because it is privately owned and so we couldn't get clean towels, the apartment itself was dirty and there are mould issues. I think the venue is fantastic and a different apartment booked directly through Sea View would be better. In terms of this particular room, it's on the ground floor and right next to the staff utility room so the door kept slamming and the staff would gather and talk loudly at this spot all hours. The next door apartment had some pretty conduct disordered adolescents who were walking through our patio to get to the other apartment on the other side of us and they would also be screaming and banged on our door late at night. Not great when you have a 5 year old trying to sleep. You will need a buggy if you want to get around - the shuttle bus is convenient but a buggy is more direct with getting around. We got one but unfortunately the conduct disordered kids unplugged everyone's buggies so ours ran out of battery (fortunately we were close to the buggy hire when this happened and they gave us a different one). We were close to the pools and the beach which was great. Unfortunately our 5 year old cut her foot on a clam shell while in the water so from this we would definitely recommend taking water shoes. The GP was booked out and we couldn't get any medical attention. Thankfully a telehealth call to our GP in Sydney helped us get a script for antibiotics and info on how to clean and dress the wound.
