“The hotel was nice and the staff were great. They assisted us and looked after us. The staff at the ground floor checked on us while we were waiting for our ride, gave us directions when we were looking for a souvenir shop (there’s a good one walking distance from the hotel). The front desk staff were accommodating, allowed us late check out, arranged for our airport transfer, etc. The location was in a busy area. Convenient if you want to do some shopping. You can hear the busyness of the area during daytime. There’s a museum and casino beside the hotel as well. ”

“The location was fantastic, and the service at the Hacienda restaurant was outstanding. However, the amenities at this hotel were disappointing. Many outdoor options like kayaking and paddleboards weren’t functioning, and the few available were restricted to specific times with only 30-minute sessions. While my family did have a good time, we ended up exploring outside the hotel for activities. The excursions offered by the concierge were overpriced, so we opted to book on our own. When we rented a cabana for a day, it was surrounded by ants, which affected our experience. The saving grace was the exceptional staff at the Hacienda restaurant. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for an all-around great stay.”

“Clean modern hotel / condo / timeshare facility. Rooms are clean as is the whole facility. Security out front and for your parked vehicle. Breakfast was very good. ”

“Excellent hotel, the rooms are massive and you stay in your own little lodge, ours had an amazing view of the volcano and was equipped with 2 comfy beds and air conditioning, a good distance from a few good restraunts and a quick drive into La fortuna, would definitely recommend ”
