“I was greeted by the nicest smile from the reception, it was the easiest checked in I ever had. I got room view front and it was so clean. Breakfast is decent. Location is lovely, right behind the gym, walking distance from Union Square, train station and surrounded by restaurants.”

“I live in central Scotland and this is my third time at this hotel. The hotel is on an estate within nice grounds. It blends a traditional Scottish castle look with modern aspects in decoration. Not far from Aberdeen City Centre, but it was a car journey there and back to the hotel. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was bouffe but had a good choice. I used the Spa facility. The changing rooms were rather small, the pool was very busy with swimming lessons at the time I went, and some flakey paintwork all-round which could do with a re-decoration. Having said that the sauna and steam room were large enough to accommodate even busy periods around the pool. Overall good value for money (beware that it's 11.00am checkout, we assumed it was 12.00 noon like other hotels in the area, and it incurred a £10.00 extra charge!!) To end on a positive note, there were residents from Europe, and the USA, which was nice as well. I will probably stay again in future, but will definitely leave before 11.00am in the morning.”
