“fantastic B&B in the perfect location, booked to take my father to the tank museum, nice and peaceful location, lovely scenery, the owner is very friendly and tolerant, and gas some amazing pets. overall, i cannot find any faults with the accomodation, and i have a very difficult father. the breakfast was excellent and homy, sat around a nice farm style kitchen. my only regret is not booking more nights, however i will definitely be returning and can highly recommend this b&b to anyone, dont miss out on this hidden gem”

“Absolutely lovely stay. The staff are so friendly, the breakfasts were fully breakfasts with an assortment of meat and fish. We were upgraded to a Suite at no extra charge which was an amazing perk for us. So happy to have stayed here. Bonus is it's walking distance from the rail stations (I used two different stations while staying here) and they were so easy to get to by foot. ”

“This is a lovely B & B and very convenient for The Winterbourne Hospital. Is is very quiet and the rooms are great, including great instant hot drinks. Sadly, no sweeteners and, if anyone is allergic to small caged birds and/or dogs these are kept here. Nevertheless, this was my second stay and would use again.”

“The Greyhound Inn is just what we hoped it would be. The rooms are clean and cosy, with the added extra of their doggy naming history. The deep bath was especially welcome. The Inn itself was beautiful, the staff attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. I was pleased to find they had gluten free bread! The village is delightfully quiet, like a little secret hidden in the valley. Altogether a fantastic experience, and we can't wait to visit again.”

“Summer Lodge Country House Hotel is a good place for couple or family relax. It is a bit far away from city centre, but the environment makes it worth visiting. Welcome drink was prepared for us upon arrival. The restaurant offers fine dining which is also worth a try. Upon check-out, the staff gave us four bottles of water as she knew we would have a long journey. It is very thoughtful of her to do so. Thank you!”

“The rooms were in very poor condition, bathrooms weren't clean, one of the bathrooms were cloaked. In the advert was mentioned that there is a parking space, well there wasn't I had tompark on the street and pay for parking. The pictures of the advert doesn't match the real look of the rooms. They are awfuly maintained . Also are situated above a pub which works until 12am and you can hear every word their customers say. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at The Fox. Pleasantly surprised with our large room which was light and airy, lovely views from the window, good facilities, comfortable bed and our dog enjoyed the stay too.Delicious meal in the bar in the evening, staff very friendly, efficient and accommodating. Lovely rural setting plenty of walks for the dog from the pub in rolling countryside. Would definitely stay here again! ”

“Stayed one night and enjoyed food at the pub. The pub is brilliant and so good to see a country pub doing such good trade. Overnight accommodation was a bit tired but full English breakfast brought to our room was fantastic.”
