“Good room and very clean.”

“The room was a decent size with a pleasant bay window. The bathroom was large with a powerful shower, although the shower screen was too small to prevent a significant amount of water going on the floor. We ended up having a bath, which was fine. There was plenty of hot water. The hotel leverages its refurbished rooms in its marketing material. We had one of the chalets which hasn’t been refurbished, hopefully this is next on their to do list. The room wasn’t unpleasant, just a bit tired and shabby. The bed was firm, I can understand how some would find it a bit too firm. It was clean and tidy. Breakfast was good. Nice big portions. Decent coffee. No complaints. On checkout we were told that next time we come to ask for one of the newer rooms?”

“A simple, straightforward room, reasonably clean with the usual tea and coffee facilities, but the bed was quite hard and uncomfortable. Decent sized bathroom. Quite basic continental breakfast.”

“Excellent accommodation staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms well equipped clean and tidy with lovely bathrooms. Very suitable for anybody with any sort of disability as well. ”

“Hard bed. Needs refurbishment. Only half the lights work. However the pub is lovely with good food and beer.”
