“It is the exception, rather the rule for me to write a review for a hotel, but I could not resist doing so for GCH. The check-in was drenched in pleasantness. A warmth of cordiality and geniality pervaded the facility. The Wi-Fi worked optimally. The food was tasty and tongue-tantalizing and it was served in copious dozes of love. At every dining occasion, someone from management checked to ensure that the service was delivered at the expected high standard. My only disappointment was that the swimming pool was out of commission. On the overall, it was a delightful stay. I highly recommend it. I shall return.”

“The Agoda map location first off is not accurate for this hotel. When I booked it, the map location has it near the center of Georgetown, which it absolutely is not. It is about a 30 minute drive into the city. The service is not 100% and can do with some improvement. The hotel is very expensive for an old hotel, definintley is showing its age. The rooms smell of mildew and mold, so if you have allergies, think twice of selecting this location. Breakfast included is horrible. The layout for the buffet and selections of food are very poor. Staff are not eager to assist if you need anything. Just a very bad experience overall. There are nicer hotels in the center, but the problem is, they book up fast so you are left with these unfortunate choices.”
