“The facade of the hotel looks deceiving. The right side is the café and the small door on the left is the entrance of the hotel. You need to carry your own luggage on steep and narrow stairs. (Warning: It might cause back problems/pains). You need to be strong enough because there is no hotel staff to help you. If I knew about this, I would have looked for another hotel. You are lucky if you are welcomed by a local staff in the reception. You will surely be greeted by a warm & sincere smile. Otherwise, you’ll get the opposites. And if you book the tatami room, you need to climb a more challenging and steeper stair (30 degree angle) with 17 steps. The tatami mat needs to be changed. Splinters prick lots of times. The hotel location is perfect. It is in the middle of the town where you can eat and buy from the shops. It is also near the ski slopes escalator. The cost is as steep as it’s stairs. They even charge my young daughter a full price. There are lots of rules in order for them to clean your room. Why don’t you just have a simple ‘for cleaning’ & ‘do not disturb’ signs? We were just lucky it snowed that day. My family had a blast playing on the soft, white, powdery snow and erased all the hassles of the hotel stair experience. This hotel is for strong and abled people only. This is our own vacation hotel stay experience. ”
