“Only on arriving to the property in an Uber did I discover that there is a sign that says you need to check in at xxx (at different property address). There was no pre-warning of this in any of the documentation. As clean & new as the place was, the additional Uber fares to go to the other address to check in, then return to this address, actually made this accommodation significantly more expensive than I would have booked had I been aware of the cost. Probably fine if you’re not travelling & have your own vehicle. Otherwise the room itself was very clean & tidy & new… although if you have the option I would book an upstairs room, as I could hear the people upstairs stomping around. There’s no view & no comfortable outdoor options (there’s a small outdoor area but it’s a few metres from a main road, so constant traffic. But nicely renovated rooms & comfortable bed.”
