“Nicer hotel in a great location ”

“Location is terrible. Workers were lagging the road and we had a sedan that scraped the underbelly of the car and was a very bumpy ride. From the main highway it’s about another 30 minutes away. This hotel has beautiful views and very clean. However, it’s is extremely overpriced in relation to its surroundings. It has American prices. For example, a beer cost $6.50. Whereas most places will charge $1.50-$2. Same goes for food- appetizers were $6.50 and most places you could get the same food for $2. Here you are definitely paying for convenience and views. They also offered to rent jet skis, kayaks and even a speed boat for additional charge since they are not affiliated with the hotel. They also seem to find small ways to upcharge. Such as milk for coffee, salsa, etc. breakfast was included and was delicious. But they also said if we did t like it, we could pay to change it. Overall, hotel is great, and the views are spectacular but I find there are better places to stay that are more affordable and accessible. ”
