“This was our first time at Carmel Beach Hotel. The location was great, close to downtown, the beach and pebble beach golf course. The grounds were immaculate, room was clean and spacious. We got a room with an ocean view- had a row of houses in front but could still see and hear the waves. Our first room had some lights out so they switched and gave us a room with a soaking tub and fireplace. Customer service was amazing and can’t speak highly enough about the staff. Gym was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was served in the room. Bed was comfortable but pillows were pretty flat. We will definitely be staying here again and would recommend to anyone. ”

“The property was extremely well maintained. We felt at home the minute we stepped into our room. It was very well appointed. Catherine was the best!!! Breakfast was excellent, and was stocked with high quality food. Brenda was wonderful to us and attended to all our needs. The room was perfect. We stayed in room 209 and it was exactly what we wanted. We would love to come back and stayed in the same room, soon!!!”

“Stayed here for a few nights in mid-October. Staff was friendly. Rooms were updated and very clean. Location is excellent. Beds and linens are nice. Walls are very thin...both nights our neighbors TV was on ALL NIGHT LONG and we could hear it as if they were talking in our room. Not sure if they fell asleep and left it on or were watching it until 4am? Last year we stayed in the cottages just west of the main building and don't remember this being a problem. Maybe the rooms are not attached in that area. Nice hotel, great location, bring your ear plug or headphones if you want a good night's sleep! ”
