“We’ve stayed at most other hotels in Gunnison and this was probably the best. Quite basic but clean, large room with good anmenities and a nice quality bed. Cons: breakfast and coffee sub par ”

“A bit pricey for a run down older motel. Beds are hard. Could use some updates. There was not even a fridge in our room, but luckily it was cold overnight so we stored food in the car. ”

“When we arrived snd tried to check in the front door was propped open but no one inside. We even rang the security buzzer and still no one. We left to go do our plans for the day and came back /early evening to check in. This time someone was there but spoke very broken English and I couldn’t understand anything at all. The next morning we had a different staff member we encountered and she also spoke very broken English and we could not understand. They seemed to be annoyed that we kept asking them to repeat what they said. ”

“Enjoyed our stay. Location is excellent for Gunnison area activities. Room was nice and clean. Apparent long-term room rental to handyman business is somewhat of a detraction, i.e., noisy, messy. Overall though: a good experience.”
